The doll belonging to my mother, Evelyn Harriet Newman Fero, around 1920.

Material: The head and limbs are likely made of composition (a mix of sawdust and glue) or possibly bisque (fired porcelain), common materials for dolls from the 1920s to 1940s.
Features: It has painted facial features, blue eyes that appear to be 'sleep eyes' (designed to close when laid down), and short, brown, somewhat mussed hair.
