Module 05: Literacy Assessments

Introduction:

In Module Five, you will explore literacy assessments.  This module will discuss formative and summative assessment.  You will also learn about progress monitoring and instructional decision making from assessment data.  You will learn how to effectively administer and evaluate literacy assessments to support student achievement.   

Objectives:

• Determine the need for formative and summative assessment.

• Evaluate student assessment data.

• Plan for instruction based off of student assessment data.
