This is a real good bargain for the price. Zultan is an animated fortune teller, and the voice comes through loud and clear. There is a volume knob on the back, along with a 3 way switch. If you put it on manual, a red button lights up on the front of the cabinet, and you press that to open the curtains and hear Zultan give his fortune. It's great they provide AC adapter power too. The only drawback for me is there are only eight fortunes to be told. I wish you could install more, I'd buy them. But nevertheless, Zultan is way up on the cool scale.
I got mine yesterday, and every single person that's seen it, had to play it.
You won't be disappointed.

The Gemmy "Zultan" fortune teller, which appears to have been partially modeled after the 1969 Prophetron "Zoltan" coin-op fortune teller, not only makes a fantastic interactive Halloween decoration, but also makes a great addition to your home game room. It has the look and feel of an old-style penny arcade machine. The curtains open and close, and the lighting is very eerie.
There are only eight recorded fortunes though, which is a shame because it does get a bit repetitive after a while. This is offset somewhat by the wireless microphone that allows you to put your own words in Zultan's mouth, but I really wish it had more recorded fortunes to say on its own because whoever did those recordings has a great voice.
Nonetheless, this machine is always a hit with guests (kids and adults). It adds a really nice touch to the home arcade.

This this is so darn cool and fun for a home game room.
I can't get over the quality of this thing and the technology that it uses for such over the top fun silliness.
Between the animated curtains that woosh open to reveal Zultan to the LED mood lighting that slowly rises up to light Zultan's face, this is a true bargain for this sort of gadget.
Buy it...you'll love him!
