Computer Science and Engineering
Department of Computer Science and Engineering started along with the establishment of the college. It offers an undergraduate course B.E with an annual intake of 60. It has a highly qualified and experienced faculty. The B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering is a broad and flexible degree program with the curriculum specifically designed to reflect the depth and breadth of computer science. The department is making constant efforts to establish advanced computing facilities and training centers in order to enhance students’ employability.

Dr. K.C. Ravishankar B.E., M.Tech., Ph.D.,
Dr. K. C. Ravishankar did his B.E. from MCE, Hassan in 1990, M.Tech from IIT, Delhi in 1998 and Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2009. He served at MCE from 1990-2010. His areas of interest include Databases, Image Processing and Cryptography. He has 4 international and 12 national publications to his credit.

Raghu M E did his B.E. from UBDTCE, Davangere in 1998, M.Tech from JNNCE, Shimoga in 2003. He served at BCE from 2000-2003 and in JNNCE from 2003-2010. Presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. His areas of interest include Compiler Designs, Image Processing and Computer Graphics. He has 1 international and 2 national publication to his credit.

Chethan K C did his B.E from BMSCE, Bangalore and M.Tech from Dr AIT., Bangalore, He has presented a paper in the International Conference held at VIT, Vellore. Presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Mr. Ranganatha S. B.E., M.Tech.,
Ranganatha S. did his B.E(CS & E) from Kalpataru Institute of Technology, Tiptur in 2002 & M.Tech(CS&E) from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore in 2006. He has presented a paper in the national level seminar held at PESIT Banglore during January 2007. His areas of interest includes Operating Systems, Algorithms and Compiler Design. He has a total of six years teaching and one year industry experience and presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Annaiah H. , did his BE(CS&E) from B.I.E.T., Davanagere in 2004 and M.Tech from N.I.E. Mysore in 2006. He had served at Infosys Technologies Limited, Mysore as a Senior Software Engineer for 4 years. His areas of interests are Networking and Database Management System. Presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Thirthe Gowda M.T., did his BE(IS&E) from BTLITM, Bangalore in 2004 and M.Tech from SJCE, Mysore in 2006. He had served at Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore as Lecturer for 5 Years and 1 year industry experience as Project Trainee. His area of interests are Digital Image Processing and Database Management System web applictaions and services.
Presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
