Split the group equally. The recommended group size is 5 to 8 people.
Each group lines up in a single file line.
The facilitator announces the verse to the group. Give the groups time to memorize both the verse and the reference.
The first person turns around to the second person and recites the verse. The second person says, “What?” The first person repeats the verse. The second person turns around to the third person and recites the verse. The third person says, “What?” The second person turns back to the first person and says, “What?” The first person recites the verse to the second person again. The second recites the verse to the third person. The third person recites to the fourth person. The fourth person says, “What?” And so on.
When the last person finishes reciting the verse, the whole group sits down.
Repeat the procedures with the same verse or a different verse.
The group that finishes the fastest wins.
