NBA 2K20 Update 1.05 Full Patch Description

2K has released another update to the NBA 2k20 on the PS4 and Xbox One, and now you can read more about the 1.05 patch description and its fixes. For details, please visit here.

The September 30 patch is the size of a full-length game, coming in at 20.599 GB on PS4 and Xbox One, and it's not the first time this has happened either. NBA 2K20 was heavily criticized upon release for its plethora of bugs but 2K has been hard at work ironing those out.

NBA 2K20 Update Version 1.05 Patch Notes

- Successful coach challenges won't use a timeout

- Fix for baseline dunks that weren't triggering properly

- Adjust Pro Stick window for hop step gathers so left or right performs normal dunks/layups

- Fewer missed "full white" releases EDIT: To clarify the fix for "full whites," shooting %'s were untouched. Shooting will be the same as it was pre-patch. It just fixes inconsistencies between what the shot meter shows and the actual outcome.

- Buff Pick Dodger to match Brick Wall strength

- Fix Steve Nash sig dribble style yo-yo ball bug

- Widen the speed gap, especially to reduce the speeds of low-rated bigs

- Ball shagger dudes should be in MyTeam Freestyle practice

Some problems with MyTEAM were addressed but the bulk of this update likely lies with the many bug fixes that the team said they tackled. The crashing issues have been toned down a bit, but they still occurred periodically on MyTeam Unlimited and Play Now Online games.

With this being the only NBA game currently on the market, it's leaving a lot to be desired but the team is slowly plugging away at all of the issues currently affecting the game.

Hopefully, this patch removes those issues

The UI problems can be easily overlooked, but there were button-mapping issues on the menu screens. When looking through rosters, I discovered the L2/R2 or LT/RT buttons didn't impact anything, though they should have allowed you to scroll through team screens.

2K developer Zach Timmerman offered some clarification on the badge progression tweak, which will be of the utmost importance to fans who spend most of their time playing MyCareer.
