This poem is about David Bottoms's daughter as she is climbing up a 25 foot rope and how she lets go. This poem shows that all parents care for the safety of their children
David has been selected hundreds of times to have his published poems appear in newspapers
The Atlanta Journal Constitution asked him to create a poem for the millennial issue.
He was also asked to make a poem on the day of the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001
David Bottoms is also recognized as "Poet Laureate"
