F&S no kai hosted a one day bus tour. About 30 foreign neighbors: Indians, Chinese, Vietnamese, joined the tour. We visited some of Edogawa's atractive spots.

9:30 Depature Seishincho community hall
2. 9:55 Komatsugawa one thousand cherry trees
A thousand cherry trees are planted along Arakawa-river embankment. In this area, Komatsugawa thousand cherry blossom festival has been held annually. At this time of the year, some regional groups go along with the event. There are refreshment boothes, stage performance etc.
3. 10:45 Horiguchi Fish Farm
The fish farm cultivates and sells goldfish. About 7 kinds of goldfishes are cultivated. One of the most famous goldfish is called Ryukin. They also sells about 15 kinds of goldfishes. The price range is approximately 500yen to 100,000yen per a fish. Edogawa-ward is used to be famous goldfish-growing district in japan.
4. 11:45 Lunch @Kasai Rinkai Park
It's reclaimed land by Kasai offshore development project by government and opened in 1989. In the park, there are some attractive facilities such as Tokyo Sea Life Park, bird park, Ferris wheel, Hotel and so on. The Ferris wheel is the biggest one in Japan, having a diameter of 111meters and 117meters in height. We had lunch at the rest house called Crystal View.
5. 13:30 Ichinoe Village Head's Residence
It is the premises of the Tajima family. The Tajimas reclaimed newly a rice field in the early Edo period(1603-) and had been village heads of Ichinoe fields for generations. The residence is one of the oldest existing private houses in Tokyo.
