Subject Fields Covered:

 The library collection encompasses all subject fields relevant to the public service, with an emphasis on  management, public administration, policy, political  science, current affairs, human resources management & development, as well as particular departmental subject fields like tourism, environment, social and community development, etc.

In addition to the regular shelves and the Reference Collection, the library also has some "special" shelves, focusing on the following topics:

• HIV/Aids

• Gender & Women

• Disability issues

• Youth Issues

• Moral Regeneration

• Environmental Issues

• Heroes' Corner

• Literacy Corner (a collection of fiction and non-fiction booklets, used by newly literate persons and parents).

How to Use the Library

Walk-in users make use of material inside the library, browsing the shelves, reading in the Reading Area or studying at the Study Desks. Only members can borrow material to take it outside the library. Information can also be requested by telephone or e-mail.
