Another new draftee (2006), Peter "The Miner" Rikys was a late comer to golf. The Miner seems intent on catching up for lost rounds. “Have cart will travel” is his motto. Has been known to try and play in the dark hence the name. Made the most auspicious of starts to his FROG career with some outstanding fare. From the Shaky Isles - not the Beaconsfield type. Part of the winning 2007 team and joint winner of 2007 Top FROG. The big V are very happy to have him in their team.

2011 was his best year and finished runner up in The Golfing Frog award. Was very consistent and having King Kong as a roomy seemed to have a calming effect. Being half deaf was an obvious benefit for the (p)lucky Miner. Drawn with Vincent to finish third in the Pond award.

Fit and raring to go. Not long but down the middle. Has anyone seen my cart?
