Visit the cemetery

Pedestrian access is via any of four gates from St.Mark's Avenue, Hamlin Lane and two in Hanover Road.  Vehicular access is via the St.Mark's Avenue entrance. The Hamlin Lane entrance is also open for vehicles when there is a funeral.  Apart from at the Hamlin Lane entrance all gates are left unlocked.  There is a map of the cemetery on the Burial Records page. 

There is a bus stop at St.Mark's Church for Stagecoach bus numbers  B, I, and J.

If you travel by train the nearest station is Polsloe Bridge which is about 10 minutes walk from the cemetery.

The nearest public toilets are in Heavitree Pleasure Ground (AKA Heavitree Park) postcode EX1 2TN,which is a 15 minute walk from the cemetery.
