Visit the cemetery

Pedestrian access is via any of four gates from St.Mark's Avenue, Hamlin Lane and two in Hanover Road.  Vehicular access is via the St.Mark's Avenue entrance. The Hamlin Lane entrance is also open for vehicles when there is a funeral.  Apart from at the Hamlin Lane entrance all gates are left unlocked.  There is a map of the cemetery on the Burial Records page. 

There is a bus stop at St.Mark's Church for Stagecoach bus numbers 1, B, F, J and X30.

Hamlin Lane  and Ladysmith Road are no longer through roads for cars. This means that vehicles can only reach the Hamlin Lane entrance from the south and the main entrance in St.Mark's Avenue is only reachable from Pinhoe Road  . This is a trial scheme which is planned to run from August 2023 for 18 months.
