POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS AVAILABLE AT SANOFI, IN THE NEUROSCIENCE THERAPEUTIC AREA
Postdoctoral Fellowships are available at Sanofi, in the Neuroscience therapeutic Area. Fellowships come with salary support for 18 months in the EU and, provided good progress is made, for an additional 18 months in the US. The Sanofi postdoc program provides fellows with the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research focused on delivering therapeutics to patients with diseases of tremendous unmet medical need. Fellows are mentored in their research and supported in publishing their research work, gain experience with drug discovery and development, and experience working on large, matrixed teams in a dynamic and fast-paced research ecosystem.
Dr. Lesuisse heads the CNS Barriers group in the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area, based in Chilly Mazarin, just outside Paris. This group is studying novel mechanisms to enhance brain delivery of biotherapeutics (proteins, antibodies, peptides, oligos) that are amenable to developing next-generation therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. A position is available for a postdoctoral fellow. Candidates should be trained in cell and molecular biology, and have some experience in blood brain barrier research, and in particular cellular trafficking and transcytosis. Candidates must also have an outstanding track record of research training and publications from their PhD thesis work, the ability to define and execute project goals in collaboration with other scientists in the group, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
