Institut Curie Orsay,

Post-doc au laboratoire "New Apporaches in radiotherapy lab".

Radiotherapy (RT) is one of the most frequently used methods for cancer treatment (above 50% of patients will receive RT). Despite remarkable advancements, the dose tolerances of normal tissues continue to be the main limitation in RT. Finding novel approaches that allow increasing normal tissue resistance is of utmost importance. This would make it possible to escalate tumour dose, resulting in an improvement in cure rate. With this aim, we propose a new approach, called proton minibeam radiation therapy (PROTONMBRT), which has already been shown to drastically reduce neurotoxicity while providing an equivalent or superior tumour (glioma) control than standard RT in small animal experiments.

The postdoctoral fellow will develop his work in the frame of an ERC Consolidator grant whose main objectives are to disentangle the biological mechanisms involved in tumour control and normal tissue preservation. The work will be done in tight collaboration with Orsay proton therapy centre.

Centre de cancerologie de Lyon (CRCL)

Post-doc au laboratoire "Cell death and Chilhood Cancer".

The candidate should achieve the development of robust strategies & protocols to generate and characterize

neuroblastoma organoid models from tumoral samples and from healthy tissues upon genetic engineering. Moreover,

the candidate will use these organoid tools to address the intratumoral heterogeneity role in cell death resistance

notably upon treatments. Finally, the candidate will be involved in writing reports, publications and grant applications

Earle A. Chiles Research Institute at Providence, Portland, Oregon, USA

Post-doc au laboratoire "Anti-Cancer Immune Response".

The major goal of this lab is to analyze the crosstalk between cells present in the tumor microenvironment and tumor reactive T cells and determine the impact of those interactions on the patient’s immune response to cancer. The fellowship will be focused on studying the intrinsic and extrinsic mechanisms regulating the development and function of tumor-reactive T cells in patients with epithelial cancers.
