This is a very detailed 1/43 scale diecast model. It features opening doors, an opening hood. Underhood detail is nice, including the  265 cubic-inch Chevy V8. This is the Classic Cars release of the '56 Bel Air by Franklin Mint, in Nassau Blue over India Ivory, with Two-tone Blue interior.

The 1956 Bel Air received a face-lift with a more conventional full-width grille, pleasing those customers who didn't favor the Ferrari-inspired '55 front end. Distinctive two-tone bodyside treatments and graceful front and rear wheel openings completed the "speedline" restyling.
