Being part of a local PC Party Constituency Association is a great way to get introduced to politics and contribute to your community. Association involvement is the most local of politics and affords you some influence in both local and provincial politics.
To be part of the Association, you need to become a member of the PC Party.
To get involved, contact the Association President or PC Party HQ (see Contact Us page for the contact information).
There are many ways to be involved:
- Volunteer. Simply let the Board know that you are available to help out, and we will add you to our list of volunteers!
- Become an Advisory Director on the Board. This non-voting position is a great place to start. As an Advisory Director you provide your insights and time to help the Association grow and hold events. You have the chance to sit on committees, attend party forums and learn about politics in Manitoba.
- Become an Officer on the Board. President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Youth Rep...there are a number of voting positions on the Board which means that you are helping to run the PC Party in your constituency!
- Become a Candidate in the next election.
