Waste Free Lunches

The PTA Green Committee and Green Team will kick off this year.'s

Waste Free Lunch Fridays on "America Recycles Day", November 15th.

The average school student produces 67 lbs. of lunch trash per year.

You can reduce waste and have a positive impact on the planet!

Help your child pack a waste free lunch by using these guidelines:

• • Start with a reusable lunch carrier.

  • Pack your food in reusable containers.

  • Use a refillable drink bottle.

  • Include reusable utensils.

  • Recycle in the cafeteria.

  • Pack only what your child will eat.
