CTFS-ForestGEO RESOURCES

The Center for Tropical Forest Science-Forest Global Earth Observatory (CTFS-ForestGEO) is the only forest monitoring network applying a standardized protocol to forest plots worldwide. Here are links for some of the projects we actively participate or led.

GLOBAL FOREST CARBON DATABASE (ForC)

ForC, which was developed in this lab, is the largest and most comprehensive database of forest carbon stocks and annual fluxes. The database contains data on ground-based measurements of ecosystem-level C stocks and annual fluxes in forests globally, along with site information, disturbance history, and information on methodology. The database currently contains >17,500 records from >2,700 plots and >2,000 sites.

ForC sites, current as of January 2018.
