Do you want to try a bit of freshwater fly fishing without the hassle of getting some kit, joining a club, paying fees or reading a book?
Would you like to just come to a dam for the day with a bunch of good folk who will lend you some kit and do their best to get you hooked into a trout?
Well then, come and join us at one of our FFA Club Days, held monthly at a well stocked dam in Mount West (Nottingham Road).
As part of our drive to attract new members to the sport and the club, there are no rod or other fees for visitors on Club Days.
Is there a catch? The “catch” is simply that we would hope that you would consider the FFA as your fly fishing “home” if you decide you like the sport and want to carry on with it. We hope that you would consider joining the FFA as part of your future fly fishing adventures, and we would be happy to have you. At this stage you are under no obligation whatsoever to join the FFA. Just join us for a day and have some fun.
Interested? Drop us an email at flyfishersassociation@gmail.com to book your spot. And bring a friend, a son, a neighbour. Although we will limit the number of rods on the dam, there will be many other Club Days in the future, so we should be able to accommodate you at some stage.
Look for upcoming Club Days in the FFA Calendar.
