We form a group a researchers mostly interested in developping passive seismic interferometry for studying active faults and volcanoes
From front to back, left to right:
François Lavoué, Marian Ramirez, Pierre Boué, Laura Pinzon-Rincon, Noélie Bontemps, Daniela Teodor, Yixiao Sheng, Chloé Gradon, Aurélien Mordret, Florent Brenguier
My research focuses on the study of active faults and volcanoes with a specific focus on the study of dynamic processes such as post-seismic relaxation, fault-zone damage and healing, volcanic edifices response to magma forcing and volcanic flank destabilization.
I'm particularly interested in developing new passive, noise-based seismic monitoring methods for better understanding the preparation phase of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
My research is mostly based on seismic observations on Large-n seismic arrays.
Material describing my research can be found here.
My main current projects are ERC FaultScan and EU funded PACIFIC
I'm currently supervising:
