Welcome to the Florence Woman's Club Website!  

We hope you will take a little time to learn about this dynamic group of Northern Kentucky women.  We are a member of the General Federation of Women's Club, the GFWC. 

The Club generally meets the third Tuesday of the month, beginning at 1:00 pm. A light lunch is served at 12:30.

The Florence Woman’s Club is an organization that was formed in 1954. We have dedicated 70 years of community service, benefiting numerous charities serving Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.  

We collaborate on a variety of community service projects and sponsor one major fundraiser per year plus service projects that promote education, conservation, arts, public issues, and international outreach in the community. The members have become friends over the years, so our meetings are really enjoyable. We feel blessed to have many dynamic members of all ages with a strong sense of friendship, as well as a common purpose to help those in need.  Our Club flower is the hyacinth.

Meetings/Upcoming Events

• President Kozlowski reminds everyone the GFWC Federation has a summer meeting in Lexington 7/23-25/2026. 

• At our June Meeting, we passed around "Stroll Magazine" with the article on our April 2026  fundraiser in it.

• At our next meeting in July, 7/21 there will be a boxed lunch provided by the club.

Hello lovely ladies of the Florence Woman's Club,

We had our Spring Luncheon Fundraiser April 21st primarily for “Hope Scarves”.  What a great event!  Lunch was served to our members and guests by the Triple Crown Country Club staff.  Our gruest speaker, Ainsley Jones from Hope Scarves, gave a moving overview of just how their organization provides inspiration for cancer victims and survivors.  We had so many wonderful Silent Auction items, a Bling Table and five Live Auction items including a most lovely Quilt made by Joyce Foley. Thanks to all who attened and participated in this worthy event.

Diane wrote an article for Stroll magazine about the fundraiser that was included in the March issue.  She also submitted one to Neighbors of Union and hopes it will be in the April issue.

Early each month, I will be sending out an advance notice of the agenda and a reminder for the Hostess volunteers.  If there is ever anything you want added to the agenda, just let me know.

With that monthly email I'll include a reminder for coming events.  I hope to spend less time in meetings announcing things, and more time in activities.
