Welcome to the Florence Woman's Club Website!
We hope you will take a little time to learn about this dynamic group of Northern Kentucky women. We are a member of the General Federation of Women's Club, the GFWC.
The Club generally meets the third Tuesday of the month, beginning at 1:00 pm. A light lunch is served at 12:30.
Meeting location is the Union Presbyterian Church, US 42, Union, KY 41091

The Florence Woman’s Club is an organization that was formed in 1954. We have dedicated over 65 years of community service, benefiting numerous charities serving Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.
We collaborate on a variety of community service projects and sponsor one major fundraiser per year plus service projects that promote education, conservation, arts, public issues, and international outreach in the community. The members have become friends over the years, so our meetings are really enjoyable. We feel blessed to have many dynamic members of all ages with a strong sense of friendship, as well as a common purpose to help those in need. Our Club flower is the hyacinth.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 19th, at 1:00 PM. Social 12:30, General Meeting, followed by cookie class. Be sure to let Sharon know if you plan to attend!

Notes From The President
Hello Ladies,
We had 16 members of the club, and our speaker, Kim Webb from Emergency Shelter of NKY program, had a great program for us at the August 15th meeting. Thanks to the hostesses for our wonderful lunch! We have two new members: Barbara Molica and Denise Ryder. Welcome!
Joyce Foley has completed our member Directory for this year and distributed it at the meeting.
DAR is hosting a Bunco Bash on Sept.23, 1-4 at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Florence. Tickets $15. Lynn Demi for tickets.
Kiwanis is having their annual wine dinner fundraiser for GO PAntry, on September 22, at Brianza Winery. Cost is $75 PP. Chris Sturgil for tickets/details. 859/816-6660.
In other news, our Book Club ESO for August 30th, is meeting at the Mai Tai in Florence. Book is "Malibu Rising".
Next meeting is September 19th, 12:30 Social, 1:00 Meeting. We will have a fun cookie making class after the meeting, so stick around! (Let Sharon know by Sept. 8th if you plan to attend.)
August 24th, Secret Sister Reveal at Tousey House 11:30.
We are having regular meetings at the Union Presbyterian Church, Route 42, Union, KY (across from St.Tim's).
Sept. 30th is the District Meeting at the Erlanger Christian Church.
