Who We Are
Welcome to the Florence Woman's Club Website!  We are a member of the General Federation of Women's Club, the GFWC. If this is your first viewing of our site, we hope you will take a little time to learn about this dynamic group of Northern Kentucky women.  We collaborate on a variety of community service projects and sponsor one major fundraiser per year. The members have become friends over the years, so our meetings are really enjoyable.  The Club generally meets the third Tuesday of the month, beginning at 1:00 pm.  Meetings will be held at the New Gathering House of the Florence Nature Park, located at 7200 Nature Park Dr.(off Banklick St.) Florence, KY. beginning May 2019. Come early, enjoy a light lunch and to network!
The Florence Woman’s Club is an organization that was formed in 1954. We have dedicated over 65 years of community service, benefiting numerous charities serving Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.  Our Club flower is the hyacinth.
We feel blessed to have many dynamic members of all ages with a strong sense of friendship, as well as a common purpose to help those in need.
We have one large fundraiser a year, plus service projects that promote education, conservation, arts, public issues, and international outreach in the community.

FWC Events

Greetings to all our FWC Members and guests!

Our club is hosting the District GFWC meeting at Triple Crown on September 26th, Saturday.  Sharon will update via email the times, etc. so let her know if you are able to attend.
(DUE TO CONCERNS ABOUT THE CORONA VIRUS, OUR meeting updates will be announced via email  Stay tuned as they occur!)
***We are postponing our Annual Cancer Luncheon.  It will now be held next Spring on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Triple Crown Country Club, as usual. $40 pp or tables of 8 for $300.  Hang on to your silent auction items.  We will also have a live auction for Reds tickets.

so far this year.
We are hoping to have a meeting in October, all due to virus concerns...
So sorry about this but we need to be safe!  
Next time we meet, KELLY just had her baby!  Yay!  New mom!

Also, we are in need of a Correspondence Secretary, since Helen has moved.  Let me know if you are interested.

**Our New Year of 2020 Meeting began on Tuesday, January 21st, 1:00 pm, with socializing and lunch being served at 12:30, The program speaker was Diane Mason, Boone County Extension Office, Blue Zone - and her message was about the Senior Information and Services.  Our meeting was back at the Florence Nature Center.  

In closing, keep our ill members in your prayers... Sherrie Lou Noel, Alma Bonham, LaVerne Lawson, Betsy Conrad, Wilma Day, Pat Yannarella and Rita Bitter.  We are hoping for speedy recoveries.

As a Note, we have been collecting dues of $40, which began last year in August, for the new year this year. As well, we have a new hostess schedule through going to June of 2020.  The Schedule can be seen on the Website "Agendas" Drop Down Page.
