The Florence Woman’s Club is an organization that was formed in 1954. We have dedicated 70 years of community service, benefiting numerous charities serving Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.
We collaborate on a variety of community service projects and sponsor one major fundraiser per year plus service projects that promote education, conservation, arts, public issues, and international outreach in the community. The members have become friends over the years, so our meetings are really enjoyable. We feel blessed to have many dynamic members of all ages with a strong sense of friendship, as well as a common purpose to help those in need. Our Club flower is the hyacinth.
Spring Luncheon Review
Our April 15th Spring Luncheon was quite a success. Thank you goes out to all who attended our benefit for the Cancer Support Community of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. We had a wonderful lunch prepared for everyone by the Triple Crown Country Club staff. Our event attractions included our Bling Tables, our Live Auctions emceed by Lana and Steve, our Wine Pull and 5 Times Cash Game and of course the Silent Auction Items. We heard a motivational talk from Cancer Support Community's Gretchen Ramstetter. Almost 90 attended or special Fundraiser Luncheon.

October 2, 2025 - Our Fall Fundraiser "Booze and Bags" at Triple Crown Country Club
Hello Ladies,
We held our GFWC Meeting in Lexington, KY on March 28/29, 2025. The Leads Programs convention will be held in Atlanta. One member from each state attends. There will be nominations for Woman of the Year. Joyce Foley had been a recipient of this honor in the past.
At our May 20, 2025 Meeting Joyce Foley gave everyone an overview of the Barn Quilts Program she initiated in N. Kentucky with the help of Toyota as a major contributor. She gave us a history of the program, information of how to build a quilt, and the future of Barn Quilts in Kentucky and the United States as well.
I wish to share the idea of a fall fundraiser called "Booze and Bags." It will be a Bourbon raffle as well as a designer purse raffle. Husbands and partners are invited to attend and the date of Thursday, October 2nd. We have reserved the Triple Crown Country Club for this dinner fundraiser.
Remember that the International Day of Service is on September 27th. This year the theme is stopping violence against women. Our speaker in September from the civic engagement committee will be from the Ion center which was formerly called the Women’s Crisis Center and fits in with the day of service.
