o Robot and Attachments
o USB cable (the one that connects your robot to your laptop) & charging cord for Robot
o Bin to carry your robot & attachments (better safe than sorry), less chance of losing parts or damaging robot if it drops.
o LEGO Parts Kits: You never know when you may need an item to replace/repair/rebuild/change your robot. Maybe another team may need to borrow something (great way to show gracious professionalism).
o Laptop Computer (the one you have your programs on) with charging cord, 25’ extension cord & strip outlet.
o Flash drive with all your saved programs, just in case you need them
o Print out of Programs (REQUIRED) You can use the comment tool to type below them, to explain what each block is doing or type the general description of the moves that the entire program does
o Materials, Props/Costumes and Equipment needed for Project presentation- If you have a PROJECT PRESENTATION that you access via computer or something else you want to show the Judges or General Public: MAKE SURE IT IS DOWNLOADED ONTO YOUR COMPUTER OR ACCESSIBLE ON YOUR COMPUTER WITHOUT INTERNET ACCESS.
o Team Sign, Banner, Posters, or other Decorations for pit space (this is the table where your team can display any items to show off your project: Tri-fold boards, posters, signs, working model, etc.). Some of these may be the things you will use for your presentation, but before & after that time can be set up at your table to share your project with other teams, visitors and judges. Each team will designate 2 members to participate in "Opening Ceremonies". The 2 designated team members from all teams, walk in a procession in the Gym). Teams usually have some sort of sign, poster, banner or prop that has their team name & number that the 2 members will carry to represent their team.
o Snacks and Drinks(food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event, with the proceeds going to the kids travel fees on the Robotics Team, but you can also bring your own)
o Storage box for personal items
o Team info sheet - Required (3 copies), one for each judging panel: Project, Core Values (teamwork), and Robot Design. You can access it @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dAJ_al6xLrDHGtaw22ag1zYAJ7GeWqay/view to download it and then open in adobe reader to use as a fill in form. You can click in box above team picture or robot picture to upload pictures.
Fun, inexpensive items to share with other teams – Optional. Candy; stickers; team buttons; flyers/brochure about your idea; anything else that could relate to your project, theme of challenge or team name). If it is something you can incorporate your team name & number on it's a great way to let everyone know who you are!
