Improving the Cessna 172P
Cessna 172 P
The standard Cessna 172 model modified with textures and interior and exterior coloring. There is also a discussion on the Flight Gear Forum on this topic:

Improvements needed:
- Re-create wing shape - inaccurate
- Air intakes, radiator need to be added and cowl shape need to be changed
- Windscreen too flat
- Fuselage and tail section need rounded edges.
- Landing gear is angled forwards too sharply
- Details such as steps, pilot tube, landing lights, door handles, fairings, antennae, fuel caps need to be added.
- Exhaust tube too short
- Nose strut is uncompressed
- Vertical stabilizer shape
- Paint scheme needs to be neater, with sharper lines
- Maximum depth of cabin occurs more rearward
- Rear stabilizer and tail needs rounded edges
- Seats are block - like, need to be rounded
- A pilot needs to be added
- Window pillars need to be thicker
- Wheel shapes need to be smoother
- Exterior needs oil and dirt marks
- Instrument panel color
- Instrument panel - replace with 3D instruments
- Registration and tail art needs to be changed
- Interior - controls, panels need to be improved, add door handles

Model in .3ds format: materials for coloring, textures do not seem to work, file is not in readable text and individual parts cannot be animated as yet.
