Program of Study

Our graduate program focuses on two areas of museum studies: "management" and "interpretation & communication". Through the learning process of in-class practices, case studies, workshops, curating annual exhibition on International Museum Day, and internships, students are introduced to a wide range of museum work in order to be fully prepared before entering the museum industry or become advanced at their current positions.

Courses

Core courses:

Museum Management, Museum Collection Management and Registration, Museum Education, Museum Visitor Research, Museum Marketing, Exhibition Design, Computer Technology and Digital Museums.

Elective courses:

The Institute offers a wide range of elective courses to choose from, including but not limited to Museum Architecture, Museums and Creative Industries, Trauma and Museums, Museum and Culture Heritage, Museum Project Management, Chinese Art History, Cultural Policies and Museums.
