Fields of Research

My PhD research focuses on National museums and identity politics. From 2017 to 2021, I have been conducting several government projects about local museums and local cultural centers. From these practical museum works, I develop my research on museums from national to the local level.

Since 2019, I have been curating exhibitions about Pingtung culture. In these exhibitions, I applied the approach of public history in writing museum narratives. In my future years, I will continue to concern about the issues of ‘how to write history in museums’.
