Admissions

Prospective students can choose taking the entrance exam or submitting the application material to join the program. We accept a total of 14 home students and also welcome applications from Mainland China and abroad. Interviews are required for all applicants.

Admissions by application: information will be released on the “Admission>International Student Admissions>Apply” section of the University’s website and the Institute’s website from October to November every year.

Qualifications:Applicants with a higher education degree or equivalent in any discipline are eligible to apply.

Admissions by taking the entrance exam:Information of Exam Date will be announced on our website and Facebook page from March to April every year.

Number of Students:14 per year.

Application materials required: Autobiography, curriculum vitae, transcript of the highest education level, study plan (3 to 5 pages) and proof of English or Chinese Language proficiency.

Please submit 3 copies of each document listed above.


*Most courses are taught in Mandarin Chinese, while most teaching and reading materials for students are Chinese. Most teachers are capable of communicating in English.

The Center of Chinese Language and Culture of FJCU offers paid Chinese Language courses. For international students, the center can provide 6 hours evening Mandarin courses per week for free and arrange companions for learning Mandarin in order to help international students to improve Chinese literacy.

Career development

Our graduates work mostly in museums or related industries. The breakdown includes: Public and private museums(46%), Marketing and curatorial professionals in museum-related industries(11%), Assistants in academic institutions (13%), Elementary and junior high school teachers(5%), Pursuing PhD (3%) and others (22%).


Tuition and Fees

The tuition and fees for the first semester of 2020-2021 academic year is provided for your reference. Rates for the latest academic year will be determined according to standards set by the Ministry of Education.
