02 - removing foam core, airbag proxy

In these pictures, I am removing the foam core from the fishBOOT. I am leaving a vertical wall against which I am going to fiberglass an outrigger-holding tube. In Phish v1, the outrigger-holding tube is at the front of the conning tower. In Phish v2, the outrigger-holding tube is between the two occupants.

In the second photo, below, you can also see a pink-foam proxy for the inflatable airbag on the stern beam. The proxy is not flexible or inflatable as the airbag will be -- I put the proxy on just to show approximately how the airbag will look. You can see the stern beam, without the airbag proxy, in the first photo.
