1. prototype with outriggers (and flowers)

Next is to get the fluke on and do a full-power test! Will probably be on the weekend of May 18.

When you stand in the Fishboot, the fuselage sinks down in the water to where the sail or conning tower begins (see the first displacement test), with the forward wing fully submerged. The outriggers are free to go up/down, separate from the fuselage. There is also a tail or fluke, which goes on the stern (not yet on it in this picture).

I had it out for a balance test on May 5, to see if the outriggers provided enough stability. They did! I didn't have to lean on them at all. It felt very good. The boat responded well and was stable.
