High School Budget Project

Everyone starts with $200 to budget for a month of high school life

Each dollar in your Savings Account adds a dollar to your budget. 

Recommended Savings: $100 saved in the bank (it gets doubled) to have $400 for your budget.

Steps to a successful project:

1) Locate 3 cars for sale under $10,000. Record the information and follow the instructions as given in the "My First Car" assignment.

2) Find at least 2 cell service providers (Make sure to identify the cost and details of each)

3) Identify the costs for the other items in the list below

4) Assemble your Budget!

Responsible for the costs of the following:

• Car

• Insurance

• Gas

• Snacks

• Meals with friends

• Personal pets

• Cell Phone service

• Savings

• Fun/Whatever $
