1898 - First child Gladys `Glad' Gertrude, born in Mount Gambier, m. Tom PARK (1891-1967 (76)), d. 1963 (64).
1897 - Second child Merlyn `Merl' Stanley born in Mount Gambier.
1904 - Third child Lloyd `Torchie' Henry born in Mount Gambier.
1907 - Fourth child Mavis Annie born in Claraville, d. 1995, Mt Gambier. Did not marry.
1912 - Fifth child Clarence `Clarry' Owen born in Mount Gambier.
1922 - Sixth child Roy Rathjen born in Rose Park, SA.

Lou was a jockey and here he is riding in the veterans Golden Jubilee Hunt Club meeting in September 1931 at age 63.
