This week, the Misa's Fugue team received the news that the film has been awarded the Golden Award of Excellence by the Communicator Awards. According to their press release, "The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. Founded nearly two decades ago, The Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. The Award of Excellence, our highest honor, is given to those entrants whose ability to communicate positions them as the best in the field. The Communicator Awards are sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms."
Director Sean Gaston commented, "Winning this top tier award is a great accomplishment for Misa's Fugue. The film continues to demonstrate the important impact that Frank's story has on all who view it. We are so proud of the students, staff and others who lent their time and talents to help us share Frank's story with the world." Jennifer Goss, the producer of the film, shared, "Just when Sean and I feel like we are going to have a few quieter days, we receive great news such as this announcement. One year ago, I would have never believed that a year later we should be even busier with the project, but here we are! I am so excited for the entire team and can't wait to share this award with everyone."
