Who we are

Experimental philosophers use empirical methods to investigate philosophical issues.

Experimental Philosophy Group UK provides a forum for UK-based researchers from all disciplines with a research interest in experimental philosophy.

Anyone interested in joining the mailing list should contact experimentalphilosophyuk@gmail.com, or join our Facebook group.

What we do

We hold regular conferences in UK cities including Norwich, London, Bristol, Nottingham, Sheffield, and Oxford. Our first workshop was in 2010 and we have held regular conferences ever since.

COVID-19 upset plans for 2020 but we're excited to be helping to host European Online Conference in Experimental Philosophy will take place from 19th - 21st June, 2020.

If you are interested in helping to host and organize an Experimental Philosophy Group UK conference, please get in touch.
