Things to remember,
Thursday meetings:
Wear "Class A" uniforms unless otherwise instructed.
Bring your Scout Handbook, pen/ pencil & paper.

Events, Outings & Camping:
Signed Activity Consent forms are to be turned in before all events.
The form can be found here: Activity_Consent_Form_(pdf)

Check the Required Gear lists & dress appropriately.
You can find the Gear Lists here: Camping Gear & Information

Make sure grocery/ camp fee money is paid in advance (usually 1 week ahead)

You can use your "Scout Bucks" account money to pay for this and many other Scout related activities.

At the bottom of this page you'll find:
  Scout Withdrawal Form
  Troop 89 Patrol Meeting Plan
  Patrol Campout Planner
  Campout Duty Roster
  Individual Scout Record
And many more important documents .
We recommend that you keep 2 copies of the Scout Record so, in the unlikely event your Scout Handbook or advancement records are lost or destroyed, you will have the information.
Our only request is to have the appropriate Leaders ( Scoutmaster, Asst. Scoutmaster, Advancement Chair etc.) initial the form for you. Keep this form updated as needed.

Boy Scouts of America

SCOUT OATH
On my honor I will do my best
to do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times,
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.

SCOUT LAW
A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

OUTDOOR CODE
As an American I will do my best to...
Be clean in my outdoor manners
I will treat the outdoors as a heritage.
I will take care of it for myself and others.
I will keep my trash and garbage out of lakes, streams, fields, woods, and roadways.
Be careful with fire
I will prevent wildfire.
I will build my fires only where they are appropriate.
When I have finished using a fire, I will make sure it is cold out.
I will leave a clean fire ring, or remove all evidence of my fire.
Be considerate in the outdoors
I will treat public and private property with respect.
I will use low-impact methods of hiking and camping.
Be conservation minded
I will learn how to practice good conservation of soil, waters, forests, minerals, grasslands, wildlife, and energy.
