This page is meant for version 1.1.4 and before. From version 1.1.5 onward, it is possible to save a simulation, under certain constraints that are well explained in the help page of the Save form.
In version 1.1.4 and before there is no way to save a simulation. Such feature was implemented in version 1.1.5.
On the other hand, a given simulation can be re-produced multiple times. So if a run has been interrupted for any reason, it can be re-run from start. You just need to save all your parameters in the configuration files before starting the run.
Saving is done from the menu 'Setting | Parameters'. If you are not sure which files to save, "Display..." each file and click on Save.
Those files are stored in the 'Config' sub-directory of the installation directory.
The configuration files can be manually copied / renamed before starting the simulator. This way you can set aside a particular configuration.
Now, the content of the configuration files is changing from one version of Evo(rand) to another. And even if there are no changes, a new version will probably implement some changes to the simulation that will cause the same configuration to result in a different run.
In other words, the only way to reproduce the same run twice is to use the same configuration files with the same version of Evo(rand).
I may, in the future, implement some mechanism to merge configuration data of an existing version, with data required by a new version. The priority of such feature will obviously depend on the number of persons interested in Evo(rand).
Note: configuration files will be lost when removing a version, or installing a new one. So it is recommended to manually make copies.
