He was the chair of the group and organised and run over 240 gathering and over 5000 hours critical debates about arts which are ready to be published on the web . Bellow are the original documents related to my report giving to the public on the night that the group went public after many years of private gathering in International Hotel in London. there is a list of programs, this is a continued selected programs from a long list of the lectures organised by Esfandiar between years 1996-2000. After he left the group in 2005-6 . The group continued until last year when she sadly died. The list of lectures organised shows The Pardis Group (Thursday Literary Group) covered a wide range of debates in art including literary Criticism and critical thinking. The contribution of the group to the Iranian Communities were more than any other Iranian Communities in London . The number of talks were more than total number of gathering of Pen Society and the Society of Writers in Exile in the area of literature and art. the Thursday Group were more influential than any other Iranian Community in London on visual artists, play writers , novelists and poets. Although there were other groups such as Kanoon'e Iran and the Iranian Community in the West of London (Omid) etc. The name of the group Pardis then changed to Thursday Group since the gathering was on Thursdays called "Thursday Group" for more information about how the group started and the list of programs please look at my original notes presented to the public. |
