Ercan Lab is part of the Center for Genomics and Systems Biology at the Department of Biology, New York University.
Our lab studies chromosome structure and function. We focus on the mechanisms and evolution of protein complexes that regulate chromosome compaction and transcription. We use nematodes and C. elegans as a model organism and apply both experimental and computational techniques.
Our current research is summarized here: Ercan lab research.
