The Google Forms job aid provides instruction for students in the educational technology class to create an age appropriate checklist for students to use in evaluating sources found on the internet. One thing I have learned since developing this job aid is to add specific skills and knowledge objectives not just in the assignment, but in the job aid as well.
In order to maintain design consistency across multiple classes, I created this job aid to guide students through the process of creating a heritage cookbook recipe using Canva.com.
In the first example, I developed this job aid based on Google help files to help students understand the different functions available in Google sites. This job aid helps students create a site based on their own purpose for the site like a teacher portfolio, a classroom web page, or a curriculum resource guide for their own students.
The second example is a step-by-step job aid that guides students through the creation of a teaching portfolio that has specific guidelines. Specific guidelines allows students to learn about portfolios, integrate the Sites functions for learning, and allows the teacher to use a rubric to give specific feedback on technical and creative skills.
