In project based learning, especially as students are learning to create and share, video feedback is a way to illustrate how to use technology, offer feedback on content, and allow students to feel connected to the teacher.
Rubrics provide immediate feedback, identifying the details for mastery of learning objectives. Learning to create rubrics is important, but being able to format rubrics into a way that is easily uploaded to different platforms is a requirement for learning management systems. It allows for the same rubric to be uploaded to multiple systems, which is important for adjunct faculty who may create assignments used across platforms.
