A new writing assignment has been posted.
Directions:
You arrive at a maximum security prison to interview a mass murder, Benny "Bones" Vasquez. Bones has been given multiple, consecutive life sentences for murdering countless people in Kahoot and other classroom games. At the end of your interview, Bones argues that murdering people in classroom games is wrong. To offer support, he mentions it can leave people with crushed feelings. You can't help but feel that Bones is a complete hypocrite and you dismiss his moral argument as invalid. You conclude that murdering people in classroom games can't be that bad because Bones didn't practice what he preaches.
(1) Why is your reasoning an example of the tu quoque fallacy?
