Deck Stains and Materials

A fresh coat of deck stain is an easy way to dramatically improve the exterior look of your home. The following deck stains for wooden decks are approved for use. Homeowners need to submit an Architectural Review Committee application for any new deck build or replacement. No other colors will be approved for use. If your deck is not currently one of these colors, you do not need to do anything. However, when you decide it is time to refinish your deck, you must use one of the approved colors.

Composite Decking

The board has seen samples of Trex Composite decking and has chosen the colors and materials below. If you chose another manufacturer, you will need to get samples of colors and submit them for approval because websites don't render colors accurately.

Trex Composite Decking

• Floorboards: Havana Gold, Saddle Enhance, Beach Dune, Tree House, Tiki Torch

• Pickets: Saddle or a dark metal style

• Illuminated post caps (optional but approved)
