Architectural Improvements

Any external improvement to your house must be approved by the Englewood Mews Board of Directors. External improvements include, but are not limited to,

• Window replacements

• Decks

  • Deck Stains: Click here to see the semi-transparent and solid stain colors that are approved for our community.

  • Construction note: The construction of a deck and alteration of an existing deck in Fairfax County requires a building permit from Fairfax County. Click here for more information.

• Fences

• Trees

• Roof shingles: The following approved shingle colors are GAF Fox Hollow Gray, Charcoal, Pewter Gray, Black 

Please complete the Architectural Review Committee application and submit to CMC Management for the Board to review before undertaking external improvements. Applications can be emailed to Carolyn Smallwood at csmallwood@cmc-management.com.

Additionally, every house was assigned a color scheme by the builder. Please consult with the color scheme list before re-painting your house.
