Applicant Expertise Requirements:

This student will have an undergraduate degree in electronic engineering, computer science and engineering or related discipline with a strong research interest in the space of hardware accelerators for security, data analytics and machine learning. Knowledge and experience with FPGAs/GPUs, hardware description languages (Verilog/OpenCL/VHDL/...) is also desirable. Preference will be given to students with experience in security or cryptography, e.g. having undertaken an undergraduate project in one of these areas or having completed an MSc in a closely related area.
