Transcript of the Minutes of the first meeting of

The Church of the Seven Principles.

Minutes of the meeting held at 136 Well Hall Road, the residence of Mr J Lewis Wallis on Sunday January 8th 1922. There were present Messrs Wallis, Moffat, Pollard and Robinson, the objective of the meeting being the inauguration of a church in the district. It was agreed that a meeting be held at an early date and that the public be invited.

It was agreed that the Co-operative Hall, Well Hall Branch of the R.A.C.S. be taken for that purpose on January 22nd 1922.

It was agreed that the services of Mrs Neville, Mrs Prince or Mr and Mrs Brown John be engaged for that occasion.

The question of finance being raised, Mr Robinson agreed to lend the money for that purpose and generously gave 10/- ¹ towards expenses.

It was agreed that Mr R.H. Yates, Secretary of the National Union of Spiritualists be asked for a loan of one hundred propaganda² Hymn Books and that the S.N.U. be asked to interest themselves in our efforts.

The following Officer were elected to act pro tem³ :-

President Mr J Lewis Wallis

Vice President Mr Robinson

Treasurer Mr A Moffat

Secretary Mr J. Pollard

This concluded the business of the meeting.
