Covid Guidlines

Conditions of attending Church events during the Covid-19 period of Concern.

In order to comply with Government guidelines, church events are offered under the following conditions:

1. that you are in good overall health, free from any symptoms and not currently classified as vulnerable;
2. that you accept the residual risks that are inevitably associated with any public meetings at present; and
3. that you agree to comply with the following precautions to ensure a Covid-19 secure venue at the Church :-

Symptoms: if you have any Covid-19 symptoms you will not be allowed to participate, nor those shielding or especially vulnerable (a non-contact thermometer will be available on site; measuring temperatures will not be mandatory).

Attendees: current events will be open to the public.

Distancing & numbers: social distancing will be in place where possible.

Face coverings: wearing face masks is recommended while on church premises.

Hand sanitiser: Recommended on arrival, on exit and at any other appropriate time.

Type & duration: services will be conducted as normal except no singing will take place.

Toilets: attendees should maintain social distancing by queueing in the Main Hall until the previous occupant vacates the toilet and foyer area. Sanitiser and wipes are provided in the toilets to clean surfaces before (and after) use.

Refreshments: no refreshments will be provided except tap water in disposable cups. You may bring your own container of water/drink or flask of tea/coffee.

Ventilation: the main hall will be ventilated before and after each event by opening the windows and doors, and using a fan if necessary.

Cleaning: localised disinfection will be undertaken by church staff after each event.

Reporting: anyone who subsequently develops symptoms after attending an event must report it to a church committee member as soon as practicable.
