Moyers was again dominant for the Spartans, going 7-2 with 106 strikeouts in 62 2/3 innings pitched and credits an offseason workout regimen for the improvement. ‘In the offseason, I worked a lot harder’ Moyers said, ‘I had a personal trainer and I got a lot stronger and gained four or five miles pe hour on my fastball.’ The brilliance of Moyers’ success on the mound can’t be summed up looking at just one season, however, He was equally dominant since breaking into the Spartans rotation as a freshman. For his career Mpoyers went 30-3 and was a key to the Spartans being among the top baseball teams in the region and in the State. ‘It has been so great’ he sais, ‘I got to meet a lot of friends and teammates Its just been an awesome run.’
