This is a sample of clothing items taken from wills, Inventories, Indictments and other lists dating between 1545 and 1616
The reason for doing up the chart was originally to track down any mention of coifs or caps that were plain or otherwise decorated, this proved nearly fruitless (I did find a very few) but the resulting list proved too interesting not to share.
This is a revised version of an earlier chart I made which now contains notes on ownership of said items to give a better idea of what sort of person may have either owned or received said items. For some, details were either not given or I failed to make notes while typing out.
