Alireza's MSc research has been focused on modeling two-phase flow in unsaturated soils considering the effect of dynamic capillarity. His research has aimed to clarify how important dynamic capillarity effects would be for hydromechanical modeling of unsaturated soils. In simple terms, for instance, how rate of water infiltration and rainfall intensity would influence slope stability.
