Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Arrival at Delhi. Meet our representative, he will assist you to check into a prebooked hotel. Relax in your room and freshen up for a colourful evening in Delhi.

Evening trip to India Gate which is the landmark of Delhi, spend your evening at leisure in Cannought Place, the centre of Delhi, visit Hanuman temple, Gurudwara sahib here. Overnight stay in Delhi

Day 2 : Haridwar

Today, embark on an early morning drive to Haridwar. You will reach the holy city of Haridwar before noon. Upon reaching, you will check into a hotel close to the holy river Ganga. After you have had lunch and some rest in the afternoon, it is time to move out to the brightly lit markets and to go to Har Ki Paudi, the most famous ghat in Haridwar where the preparations of evening aarti are underway.

Soon as the evening merges into darkness and the stars begin to shine in the sky, the aarti begins. This is the sight to behold. The evening aarti at Har ki Paudi attracts visitors and pilgrims alike. The conches in the temples and hymns in praise of Goddess Ganga soon fill the air. Just after the aarti, the diyas come floating into the river and the waters turn golden with the gleams of lamps.

After being part of this mesmerising aarti ceremony, return to your hotel and unwind. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 3: Haridwar

Next morning, the day begins early. There are two famous shrines perched on hill top in Haridwar, those of Hindu goddess, Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi. This trip will take up half day as the two shrines are in opposite direction. But at both the shrines there is facility of cable car so the journey is convenient.

After this trip, come back to your hotel, have lunch and rest a bit. Later, an evening trip will take you to some famous places of Haridwar like Sapt rishi Ashram and Daksha Mahadev Temple. After visit to them, you can just be by yourself for the rest of the evening. Buy souvenirs and have a stroll in the market to just feel how people live in this holy city. You can retire for the day after dinner and prepare for an early morning trip next day.

Day 4 : Dehradun

Have your breakfast and set out further in your journey. A three hour drive from Haridwar will introduce you to the Dun valley. Dehradun is the most popular Dun valley in entire northern India. Not just is it the getaway to the higher ranges of Himalayas, but Dehradun itself is full of interesting attractions.

After you have checked into a hotel and had your breakfast, it is time to explore this beautiful hill station. There is a famous cave temple 'Tapkeshwar', the forest museum, the institute of Himalayan geology, Robber's Cave, Malsi Deer Park and many such places which will make it all the more packed with a lot of variety. Next you go visiting these interesting attractions till evening.

After that you can retire for the day. Alternatively, go to the market for some shopping, and have a look at the city life of Dehradun. Here in the market you will see all the big names from Mc Donalds to Cafe Coffe Day and all the designer labels. Going through the market, you will realise that Dehradun is no small place, rather it willl come across as a fairly modern place.

Sleep early after dinner in your hotel as the next day is going to be pretty long.

Day 5 : Rajaji National Park

An early morning wake up call. Get fresh, have breakfast and prepare for an adventure with the wildlife of Uttaranchal. The day is for a full day trip to Rajaji National Park, just 25 kilometres from Dehradun. One of the major wildlife parks in the country, Rajaji is rich with flora and fauna. With 23 species of mammals, 49 species of mammals and 315 species of birds, there is no end to what Rajaji offers to visitors.

You will spend the entire day enjoying the scenic beauty, spotting the snakes, elephants, if you are lucky a tiger also and a wide winged vulture will just fly from close by. You can also go for a jeep safari or elephant safari just to be more adventurous.

As the day comes to an end, go back to the hotel, have dinner and just collapse in your bed. It has, after all being an exhaustive day for you.

Day 6 : Mussoorie

Today, its off to the queen of hills Mussoorie. Just a two hour ride from Dehradun, Mussoorie is the most popular hill station in northern India. You leave after the morning breakfast.

On the way to Mussoorie, first comes an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple has an old shop selling precious stones. An interesting thing about the temple is the shivling made of precious stone called sphuttic. The stone is made after ice is hardened for several years and turns into a white transparent stone. Also on the journey is a beautiful lake where you can stop for a short picnic. There is boating, there is also short paragliding adventure and some small lake side shops.

By afternoon you are in Mussoorie. Check into a cosy comfortable hotel facing the valley and the Mall road. Have your lunch and rest for some time, have a small nap if you wish to relax more. Thereafter, get ready to go to the Camel's Back point. This is the most famous place in Mussoorie and the sunset and sunrise from here are sights to behold. You can see for stretches and see the great Himalayan range and as the sun sets, capture the beautiful view in your camera.

After you come back, it is time to have a walk through the most happening place in Mussoorie, the Mall. It is a stretch of road, lined with shops and it overlooks the valley. The shops have everything, from handicraft wall hangings to wooden ware and artificial jewelery. There are flea shops selling woolens and young couples romancing hand in hand. And the entire place is lighted up with what is famously called Mussoorie crown lights.

After you have had your share of fun at Mall, then it is time to come back to your hotel, have dinner and retire for the day.

Day 7 : Mussoorie

After the breakfast, it is time for the real sight seeing trip in Mussoorie. Begin with the most famous Kempty Falls. There is no dearth of such spots in Mussoorie. There are Jharipani fallls and the Bhatta falls nearby. Gun Hill is the second highest point in Mussoorie from where you can see some of the famous peaks of Banderpunch, Gangotri, Yamunotri and Srikantha. Also, visit Lal Tibba, the highest point in Mussoorie, Nag tibba, Mussoorie lake, Municipal Gardens. The pleasant weather here just adds to the enjoyment.

After a day full of enjoyment and a guided tour through the Mussoorie, it is time to end the day.

Day 8 : Return Journey

You have time for yourself, you can go for an early morning walk or go to the Mall for some last minute shopping before leaving for the airport to catch flight to Delhi. Reach Delhi and from there catch a connecting flight back home or for your further journey.
