Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure

DAY 2, Great Rift Valley
This morning, drive to the Great Rift Valley. On the way, stop at the beautiful Lake Elmentaita, famous for its large population of flamingos, then visit a local community to learn about their traditional basket weaving techniques. Continue on to your camp in the Kigio Wildlife Conservancy, a 3,500 acre park home to Rothschild giraffe, buffalo, gazelle, hyena and hippos. This afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk to learn about wildlife footprints and medicinal plants

DAY 3, Masai Mara
Depart early this morning for the Masai Mara National Reserve. Located in the southwest corner of Kenya, the park is most famous for the wildebeest migration which takes place every year from July through October. The breathtaking savannahs of the park are a stunning backdrop to a diverse and abundant wildlife population throughout the year. Enjoy lunch at your camp, and depart for an afternoon game drive until sunset

DAY 4, Morning & Afternoon Game Drives
This morning depart early for a game drive through the Masai Mara. The park is home to the “Big Five” (lions, elephants, buffalo, leopard and rhinos), as well as antelopes, gazelles, hippos and a variety of bird life. Return to the lodge for lunch and a bit of relaxation, before setting out on an afternoon game drive. This evening, return to camp and relax as you enjoy the sunset on your final night in the Mara

DAY 5, Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Center*
Today, bid farewell to the Mara and return to Nairobi. This afternoon visit the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Center, named after the author of the famous memoir Out of Africa. Today the center is a successful breeding ground for Rothschild giraffes. Here you will learn about the conservation efforts, and have the opportunity to view and feed the giraffes

DAY 6, Depart for Dubai
The morning is at leisure to relax at your hotel or explore Nairobi. In the early afternoon, transfer to the airport for your late afternoon flight to Dubai. Tonight, arrive to Dubai and settle into your hotel

DAY 7, Full Day in Dubai
Enjoy a full day to explore Dubai independently. Dubai is an ultra modern city full of impressive feats of construction and engineering. Pay a visit to the Burj Dubai, the tallest building in the word, or take a trip to the Mall of Emirates where you can shop at over 200 stores or take a few runs down the indoor ski slope

DAY 8, Full Day in Dubai
Enjoy a second full day at leisure in Dubai. Today, perhaps visit a few of the city's more traditional sights. Later, maybe take in a camel race, one of the most popular pastimes of city residents
