Wing Warriors is a demo that I started in 2009 to test and learn programing on Japanese mobiles, but lately it becomes a Android/iPhone project.

Japanese version supports DoCoMo and Softbank devices.

DoCoMo supports JAVA under a DOJA profile, very similar to MIDP but developed and used exclusively by DoCoMo for its mobile devices. It has more functions, it is less complicated to use and it adds some cool effects (like the transparency additive) that are impossible to program in its western homonymous.

SoftBank on the other hand uses the classic MIDP plus JSCL (J-phone Specific Class Libraries), that is a series of libraries for Japanese devices including the Vodaphone class libraries. Well, that is like our mobiles with steroids.

Talking about the game itself, it's a Ikaruga type shooting game, where hundreds of bullets fill the screen oppressing to the player. You can choose between three types of characters with its personal characteristics. There are at your disposition items that increased the capacity of your firing. At the moment only it has three stages. Recently I added support to handle the game with the tactile screen. If your you have a last generation device maybe you could take advantage of this tecnology to control the game.
